From 2004 the magazine 'Journal of IMAB' is published only online in English. The journal publishes articles in the field of - Medicine and Dentistry. 
The magazine provides Open Access to the full text of published articles and their authors.
Since June 2010 the Journal is a member of Crossref and is included in the Digital Object Identifier (DOI®) System with its own DOI prefix: 10.5272.

The Digital Object Identifier (DOI®) System is used to identify content objects in the digital environment. DOI® names are assigned to any entity for use on digital networks. They are used to provide current information, including where they (or information about them) can be found on the Internet. Information about a digital object may change over time, including where to find it, but its DOI name will not change.
All papers published in the Journal from 2010 and further on, after being deposited in Crossref, receive personalized DOI numbers.

ANNUAL PROCEEDING OF IMAB:
Journal of IMAB was initiated and started as a printed edition in 1995. At the beginning the Journal included published papers of all presented lectures and posters at the Annuals Assembly of International Medical Association Bulgaria (IMAB).
The initial version of the Journal of IMAB has issued of the title: “ГОДИШЕН СБОРНИК (НАУЧНИ ТРУДОВЕ) – ИМАБ” / ANNUAL PROCEEDING (SCIENTIFIC PAPERS) - IMAB”,publisher: "Peytchinski, Gospodin Iliev" ET. Printed edition 1995-2003 – ISSN 1310-7232
Editor-in-chief: Prof. Dr Krassimir Metodiev - President and founder of the International Medical Association Bulgaria (IMAB).
Printed in two issues every year (Book “Medicine” and Book “Dentistry”) in Bulgarian, later in English.
The magazine has depositing in Bulgarian National Library "St.St. Cyril and Methodius".

Annual Assembly of International Medical Association Bulgaria (IMAB):
The First Assembly (the time of the foundation of IMAB) was in May 1990 and since then every year, in the first half of May (some exceptions were the Assemblies at the end of May, but after the Millennium it was decided to keep the first week-end of May), IMAB organizes its Annual meetings in Varna, Bulgaria.
